About Pastry Report
The Pastry Report is a separate editorial project by Carter, the professional baker and recipe developer behind Carter’s Bakeshop.
Carter’s Bakeshop is my main business website. That is where you can find my recipes, bakery education, product development resources, digital recipe files, and access to Carter’s Vault.
Inside Carter’s Vault, I teach the deeper method behind my work: proprietary recipe development, formula breakdowns, product strategy, bakery and café observations, and extended case studies.
Some of the public field reports on The Pastry Report are similar in subject to what I teach inside the Vault, but the purpose is different.
The Pastry Report is where I publish public-facing bakery and café observations.
Carter’s Vault is where I teach the process behind those observations: how to read a bakery, what to look for in a pastry case, how to evaluate a menu or drink build, how to think through product positioning, and how these details can apply to running, improving, reviewing, or consulting for a bakery or café.
The Pastry Report is not a shop, a consulting page, or a sales page.
It is simply a separate outlet for documenting bakeries, cafés, drinks, pastry cases, and food business details through an editorial lens.
